Soon to be seen as the lead actor portraying the young version of Peter Parker in the sixth Spider-Man movie since Tobey Maguire started donning the red suit in 2002, Tom Holland will certainly become a household name comes July 2017.
Born Thomas Stanley Holland or more popularly known as Tom Holland, was born on June 1, 1996 in an area known as Kingston Upon Thames located in Southwest London.  His father is Dominic Holland, a popular British stand-up comedian, actor, broadcaster and an author, having written and published 3 novels.  His mother is Nicola Frost, a photographer.  Tom Holland has three other younger brothers: twins Harry and Sam and the youngest of the Holland brothers, Patrick.  In 2012, Tom took acting lessons at the British performing arts and technology school called the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, which is located in Selhurst, Croydon.

He also attended hip-hop/ street-dance classes at the school of leading dance choreographer Lynne Page who works in theater, opera, music and the film industry known as the Nifty Feet Dance School.

By 2008 at the age of 12, after almost 2 and a half years of auditioning, Tom Holland finally landed a role in the musical Billy Elliot that premiered at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London.  He performed first as Michael, the best friend of Billy Elliot.  Subsequently he became Billy and he last appeared in the musical on May 2010.   Watch young Tom Holland on his Billy Elliot's audition experiences.

His first major role is in the movie directed by brothers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, the Marvel movie blockbuster - Captain America: Civil War in 2016, where he appeared as The Amazing Web-Slinger Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

This year July 2017, everyone is waiting for his next major movie - Spider-Man: Homecoming.  Tom Holland will be the third actor to portray the role of Peter Parker which Tobey Maguire started, making three Spider-Man films and was followed by Andrew Garfield making 2 Spider-Man films.

Everyone is asking - Will Tom Holland be the better Spider-Man?  Well, in my opinion, he might certainly be!  He's young, talented, energetic and very athletic. Take a look at his Instagram post.  Just like the young Peter Parker we all know in the comicbooks.
